PMR - ENGLISH PAPER 1 AND PAPER 2

English is one of the subjects offered in PMR Examination. This subject consists of 2 papers, that is English Paper 1 and English Paper 2.



English Paper 1

Consists of 40 objective questions, divided into sections. Students are tested on vocabulary skills, grammar skills, comprehension and also literature component. Students are required to answer the 40 multiple choice questions (MCQ) within 1 hour.



English Paper 2

There are only 3 questions for this paper. Question 1 is based on a guided composition, which awarding 30 marks. Students are to write a composition based on the question of a merely more than 120 words.

Question 2 is the summary writing. A passage of 120 - 150 words are given to students and they need to summarize the passage into a 60 words of summary.

Question 3 is the literature component.
